Catwalk make up research...

Vogue Beauty website-'Prada Spring/Summer 2008-  Dark eyes and pale lips with gold accents at Prada'
I like this make up because the face is very natural but the eyes are quite over the top I like how it is dark underneath the eyes but the top part of the eyes are bright coloured, this makes the eyes the main focus and the firs thing people will see when looking at the image.

Vogue Beauty website- John Galliano- 'Spring/ Summer 2010- Expertly-smudged  eyes with metallic detailing, purple shading on the cheeks and define lips created the head-turning beauty look at John Galliano'
I love this make up look because of the colours used and the way the make up has been applied. For example her lips have a dark purple on them and then the bottom lips is red with purple then it fades with nothing on the lips. They have also taken out the eyebrows but made them stand up so they look fluffy, and then they have drawn on the eyebrows with a eyeliner pen. The make up around the eyes look all smudged which gives it a really nice effect. I think the use of the metallic make up has added boldness to the look. i think it has made her eyes look bigger.

Vogue Beauty website- Christian Dior- 'Autumn/ Winer 2009-10- Doll-like pouts  and dramatic lashes defined the purple-hued beauty look at Christian Dior. '
I love the lips on the models face  the way the top lip is covered all over and the bottom lip is just in the centre  I think it gives it a really nice effect that the outer part of the lip is white it makes the lips on of the main focuses. I also think the eye eye make up is nice the colour used blends in well with the blusher on the cheeks, there are two sets of eyelashes on which makes the eyes look really dramatic, because the make up is so dramatic the eyebrows are really thin.

Images from Vogue- 'Anna Sui-spring/summer 2013- Graphic liner in black and either blue or red at Anna Sui'
The eye make up in this image is really bold the red really stands out and then the black marks make it even bolder. However the red lipstick is a different tone and I think that its all a little bit too much however this has given me ideas on what I could do for my catwalk make up. I want to use red on my models so i think i am going to use a strong red eyeshadow and also use i to contour her cheeks and leave her lips plan because i think this lipstick with the eyeshadow is a bit over the top.
